Orbees is a privately held young organization providing Information Technology solutions to its higher education customers in the U.S. and Western Europe since 2006. We offer products and services to the higher education institutions. We plan to expand its offerings to the non-profit sector by the end of 2009. Our current customers include several top public universities such as UC Berkeley, University of Michigan, UCLA, and private universities including Ivy League schools. With the deep experience we gained by serving our customers in the last three years, we developed products in the Development (fundraising) and Alumni Relations areas, in addition to student services area. Realizing that higher education institutions struggle to implement and foster adoption of complex solutions, Orbees has developed a philosophy of building elegant and simple to use solutions. We also believe that by enabling the end users (of the institutions) access the services from the platform or device they regularly use instead of forcing them to use inflexible and limited accessible solutions, the adoption can be increased significantly that results into the success of the solution. Orbees leverages the social networks and mobile technologies in its products and most of the products are offered on a SaaS (software as a service) basis.
In addition to the products, Orbees offers custom solutions to its customers. We believe in building incremental solutions with strong customer involvement to develop solutions that address the customer needs perfectly. We provide complete transparency during the process. Depending on the specific requirement of the customer, Orbees uses a combination of Onsite, Offsite and Offshore delivery-models to create a maximum value service in terms of quality, speed, and cost. We realize through our experience that remotely executed projects require efficient communication channels. Orbees has built these channels through a set of comprehensive processes around written and verbal communication. Our Global Delivery Center is located in the landmark Cyber Towers building in HITEC city-Hyderabad. We use state of the art equipment, technology and communication systems to provide seamless integration with our onsite teams and customers.
